The IFCC Leaders are in charge of all elements of the leadership program.
A. General Responsibilities
- All staff are required to participate in training, ice breaking games and registration. All staff and volunteers are expected to live on site and be available for the entire length of camp.
- The Crew Leaders must be prepared to lead a Christ-centred camp whose purpose is to minister to the whole camper - body, mind, and spirit.
B. Specific Duties
- Reports to the Program Director
- Plans, organizes and runs all aspects of the Crew Program.
- Prepares the schedule and submits it to the Summer Program Director.
- Coordinate with the Summer Program Director to ensure meal times, use of waterfront, use of playing fields and buildings are not in conflict.
- Coordinate with the Chaplain for all spiritual activities and insures that there are no conflicts with the time of the Chaplain or Camp Priest and the other programs.
- Organize Service Times including dish washing, outdoor service and building maintenance.
- Develop leadership seminars and games to teach leadership skills.
- Coordinate with the Summer Program Director some time periods where the IFCC campers can lead different activities or programs with the main camp.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and the Camp Director to determine the best crew projects for each session.
