Bursary Position - Cookie

The position of Cookie is one that helps insure that the food is prepared and the kitchen is kept in the best possible condition.

A. General Responsibilities

1. All staff are expected to live on site and be available for the entire length of camp. Cookies are encouraged to be involved in the activities of camp and will be welcome at staff meetings and devotional times.
2. Cookies must be prepared to be part of a team serving in a Christ-centred camp whose purpose is to minister to the whole camper - body, mind, and spirit.

B. Specific Duties

1. Reports to the Cook
2. Attend the first staff meeting of the week and welcome at all staff meetings.
3. Assists Cook and Assistant Cook with all kitchen responsibilities and duties.
4. Helps kitchen with preparation, serving, and cleanup of mealtimes.
5. Encouraged to participate in leadership roles, like campfires or games, when not needed in the kitchen.
6. Help orient the Godparent to dip'n flick and the set up of the dining hall.
7. Assist in the set up and clean up of the dining hall.
