Rental Information

Situated on beautiful Thetis Island, Camp Columbia is a large 72 acre waterfront property of natural beauty, overlooking the Stuart Channel and the Vancouver Island Mountain Range. It is readily accessible by ferry from Chemainus. The Camp is owned and operated by the Diocese of British Columbia of the Anglican Church of Canada. Enjoy our tradition, spanning over 60 years, of building relationships, growing spiritually, and living in God's creation. Our programs range from work weekends, women's retreats, advent camps, college and career camps, to outdoor adventure school groups and summer programs.

Our main facility is Heneage House, a heritage style building that is over 100 years old. It accommodates sleeping for up to 45 people. We have several cottages that all sleep 2-6 people and our cabins which sleep 10. Our cottages have electricity and heat while our cabins are primarily used during summer months and do not have electricity or heat. St. Columba is our beautiful retreat house. It is a full house with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, a full patio and deck and its own beach access just feet from the ocean.

In addition to all of our facilities, we have an outdoor chapel, an arts and crafts hut, a sports hut, a cozy campfire, canoeing, kayaking, archery, Frisbee golf, a full sports field, sand volleyball court, horseshoes, small playground, a fireside lounge and full sized dining hall. Excellent meals are a part of everyday life at camp and we have catered groups up to 120 people. If you would like to inquire more about how camp can meet your needs, please to contact us.
