Spring Work Weekend April 4-6 Report

An amazing amount of work was done this weekend with around 25 hard working souls in attendance. Thanks to Roy Lamont and his mini-excavator and bobcat, a lot of work that would have taken hours was done within minutes. Removal of some dead trees and shrubs in front of Heneage created a gorgeous view of the ocean and a huge amount of broken limbs and branches from winter storms were burnt. Stairs on cabin 7 are being reconstructed and the gardens around camp had some much needed attention. Thanks so much to those who came to help out with their time and skills.

There are 2 work weekends to participate in each year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. If you would like to register for either of these events, we would love to have you participate. We are always in special need for any tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc.) but we welcome all those who want to lend a hand.
